Maggie is relocating to start her life over after a nasty divorce.  She quickly realizes that with no family and friends in her new city, the only option she has for the after-school care of her young son Oliver is the wildly inappropriate choice of Vincent who lives next door.  He has every vice and spends a lot of time with a "lady of the night".  The odd couple of Vincent and Oliver becomes a precious friendship that changes both their lives.  Oliver eventually gets to celebrate Vincent publicly and reminds us all there is glory in every human being.
