One Life

Like many true heroes, Nicky Winton doesn’t think he did enough.  When it comes to light that he invested his resources, time, and energy to rescue 669 predominantly Jewish children from the hands of the Nazis, he is celebrated as a hero and knighted with the title of “Sir”. Heart warming as it is gut wrenching, there is something about stories of people marshaling all their power on behalf of the marginalized that must be told…and we must hear. Beautiful story of the restoration of so many lives with the backdrop of millions losing theirs. Amazing ending makes it worth the ride.
